HOTSPOT HOSTS THE HONOURABLE COMMISSIONER FOR INFRASTRUCTURE AND UTILITIES, EKITI STATE

Hon. Dele Faparusi, the Commissioner for Infrastructure and Utility Ekiti State paid a surprise official visit to Hotspot Network Limited. On his arrival, he was greeted by the Founder/CEO Hotspot Network Limited, Engr. Morenikeji Aniye and some of his team members.

He was conducted round Hotspot office facility and later went in for a brief meeting with the Hotspot team. According to the Commissioner, he said he has been keeping a close observation of Hotspot Network and has keen interest in Hotspots Rural Digital project and wanted to know more about it and to see how Ekiti State government can partner with Hotspot to bridge the technology gap between the rural and urban centres of the state. Hotspot CEO explained that the key strategy is to provide network access in the unserved and underserved areas which are mainly in the rural areas. Ms. Deborah Ekwenye, Senior Project Manager at Hotspot further gave a detailed breakdown of the various solutions that Hotspot has to offer to bridge that gap and stimulate the economy of the state.

At the end of the presentation, the Commissioner was delighted and said he would be glad for the state to partner with Hotspot in this regard.
