telecoms company in Nigeria – MTN to rollout 300 rural
voice and data networks over a period of 3-5 years
under the auspices of the Digital Farmers Club. An
integrated approach to rural development featuring a
trio of banking energy and telecoms network. The
program is based on a UNDP paradigm which advocated
building rural productivity zones for rapid, sustainable
rural development.
